Preliminary results of CSIRO’s survey of the eastern zone orange roughy stock have been released.
The image to the left is a map of the St Helens hill showing depth contours. The blue dotted line running north-south shows where the vessel crossed the hill during the survey (transects). The green bubbles to the north of the hill indicate the location and size of aggregations found.
