I will be going to tomorrow’s meeting to get the best deal for Tasmania.

I am very concerned about the long term implications of the Federal Budget on Tasmania, particularly on health and education funding.

However, changing the GST is not the answer, and the very strong message I will be taking to the Premiers’ meeting tomorrow is that Tasmania won’t be wedged into accepting any change to the GST.
