The Tasmanian Greens Leader Nick McKim MP today urged the Premier Lara Giddings to name the 2014 election date, in order to shift the current political debate back onto issues of substance.
“The Greens believe Tasmanians are sick of the white noise and political psychobabble Labor and Liberal have been engaging in over the last couple of weeks,” Mr McKim said.
“Tasmanians want a debate about policies, about visions and about values, not this pointless political blather.”
“The best way to end the white noise and political psychobabble that the Labor and Liberal party have been generating in recent weeks is to set an election date.”

• Andrew Wadsley, in Comments, HERE Also, my little protest. I know the Qantas people at Hobart airport – they have always been friendly, courteous and caring. They will be missed. It’s so sad to see the goodwill shown by customers and staff to, firstly TAA, then Australian and now Qantas, evaporate because of the incompetent incumbent Qantas CEO. I think my dog, Jemma, could run Qantas better than their current joke: at least Jemma understands loyalty and probably has better business sense.
