Our auction of many splendid items, mostly bought or gifted to me in my 16 years in the Senate, is also a celebration of human creativity and how much good we can do for planet Earth with a little thoughtfulness and organisation.

Please come along on Sunday, 17th November at 2pm, at the Battery Point Community Hall in Hobart.

There are nearly 100 pieces ( http://greenart.com.au/content/index.php/2013/gallery_content/ ) up for sale. Some are masterpieces. Others cost nothing much but show a great richness of ideas. All are full of meaning for the biosphere upon which we so utterly depend.

If you would like to know more about the auction or any of its contents, contact Paul Thomas ( thomopaul@hotmail.com ). We encourage pre-auction bids, as well as live bidding on the day (by phone or in person). The auction pieces will be on view in business hours on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th, as well as Sunday 17th at the Battery Point Community Hall. If you can’t get there in person, peruse the pieces online ( http://greenart.com.au/content/index.php/2013/gallery_content/ ) and we will arrange for you to make your bids.

The money raised will go towards our Foundation’s action-oriented campaigns for the environment and the Tasmanian Greens.

Looking forward to a cup of tea, a piece of cake and a delightful auction on 17th November. I hope you can come,

Best wishes,

Bob Brown

PS. Should any creator prefer your item returned rather than sold, please let me know.
