A range of ideas and activities to maintain great mental health will be available at the Rosny LINC on Saturday, 2 November from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Popular local celebrity John X will MC the event.
The You, Me, Everybody event will offer everything from free massages, craft and exercise classes – a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of the Eastlands Shopping Centre.
Activities include stress ball making, drumming, mini garden-making, interactive computer activities, art displays, cooking demonstrations and a free BBQ.
The event is being organised by the Living Well in Clarence Group. Alderman Doug Chipman, Mayor of Clarence said that the Group was looking for a laid back way to get people aware and involved in improving their mental health.
“Some great local organisations and service providers are joining together to entertain while passing on some tips and information about good mental health,” Mayor Chipman said.
“The You, Me, Everybody event gives people a chance to talk about issues or questions they may have or they can just come and enjoy the free activities between their shopping and other Saturday morning appointments.”
