A Northern Midlands councillor claims he was punched in the face by Tasmanian Deputy Premier Bryan Green at the AFL Grand Final.
Councillor Ian Goninon and Bryan Green were at the MCG on Saturday for the AFL decider between Hawthorn and Fremantle.
Bryan Green was there as part of a government delegation.
Mr Goninon, who is also the president of the South Launceston Football Club, says the Deputy Premier hit him in the nose.

A government spokesman confirmed there was an incident involving Mr Green and Mr Goninon.
Mr Goninon is meeting his lawyer this morning.
