Shimmy Mob is the largest event of its kind – and Hobart is a participating city for the first time in 2013. Our team of local dancers will join 2100 dancers from 156 cities and 10 countries to perform belly dance flash mobs.
You can catch us at the Cat and Fiddle Arcade- upstairs, on the hour, every hour from 11am on the 11th.
Not only are we sharing the beauty and benefits of this wonderful art form while supporting local businesses and sponsors- most importantly we are raising funds for Mara House. Mara House is a service of Colony47 which provides crisis care for homeless and at risk young women in our community.
