CARDIFF, WALES – Ex-Tasmanian poet IVY ALVAREZ will appear at the Oxford Literary Festival on Tuesday, 19 March 2013, to discuss “Writing and Publishing On-line: A New Age for Fiction and Poetry?”

“What we know of as ‘online’ has become almost everyone’s newly-adopted country,” said MS ALVAREZ.

“Once online, many horizons open up for poets and writers to create, collaborate and publish.”

MS ALVAREZ recently featured at the 2012 Seoul International Writers’ Festival.

Her second poetry collection, Disturbance, will be published by Welsh publisher Seren Books later this year.

Other panellists include Philippe Aigrain and Suzanne Aigrain, co-authors of Sharing: Culture and the Economy in the Internet Age, and Alexander Smith, one of the editors of Dead Beats, a Sheffield-based publication.
