The following is a compendium of letters that I have sent to various newspapers, chiefly The Mercury, The Examiner and The Advocate; also The Australian and New Scientist.
Most, but not all, have been published. I have indicated the newspaper(s) to which I sent the letter and, where known, those in which the letter was subsequently published (though my records are incomplete as I would not necessarily have been informed of publication).
The date given is sometimes the date on which the letter was sent; other times it is the date of publication.
