The Devonport Regional Gallery is hosting a Classic Cocktail party as part of the Devonport Food and Wine Festival. Inspired by the current exhibition, the Owen Lade (1922 – 2007) Retrospective, that showcases the career of a unique Tasmanian painter, the Gallery has invited guests to dress up in any ‘classic’ style they choose, be it vintage, black tie or retro.
The party will be a fully catered event including cocktails and fine appetisers supplied by Laneway Café. Live music will be performed by Launceston based pop/jazz/blues duo MoJo, who are known for their upbeat style and experimental approach to music.
The Classic Cocktail party will be a vibrant and elegant event where people can engage with the works of a prominent Tasmanian painter and enjoy music and fine food while sipping on a cocktail in the beautiful converted church space of the Devonport Regional Gallery. Tickets are available from the Gallery, bookings can be made over the phone.
