TFGA message regarding missing person

We’ve been asked by the police to alert members to this missing man.

Concerns are held for the welfare of Chitria BHANDARI who has been missing since 22 November 2011 from Invermay.

Mr Bhandari was last sighted 26 November 2011 on Invermay Road outside the Swamp Café. He is described as being approximately 165cm tall, medium build, with short black curly hair. He was wearing black track pants, blue short sleeve t shirt, with a black jumper. Mr Bhandari is 48 years old and is Nepalese with limited English.

Mr Bhandari worked on farms in his home country and he has visited farms in Tasmania in the past. The police have asked that we alert farmers to be on the look-out for him.

Anyone who may have information on his whereabouts contact the Launceston Police Station on 6336 3701.
