Moonah Arts Centre’s popular Friday Night Concert Series continues on Friday 28th October with a performance by Sisongke Choir.

Sisongke community choir was formed in the mid 1990’s and sings world music with a social justice theme. A significant proportion of their repertoire is African as the choir began during apartheid.

Sisongke will be performing a one hour concert : Island Rhythms and Ethnic Beats. This concert will feature a range of entertaining and moving choral music from the Pacific Islands, Africa and Eastern Europe.

Sisongke exists to enable everyone, regardless of age race or musical experience, to join together in song. Sisonke welcome new members at all times and encourage the development of musical confidence and skills under the guidance of their experienced musical director.
