Why have the Tasmanian Greens completely failed to develop a rational policy on mining in Tasmania.
On looking up the Tasmanian Greens website:
http://www.tas.greens.org.au/policy
… I was utterly stunned to find that they have NO policy on Mining. TPEHN had an urgent meeting earlier this year to discuss honest and accountable mining policy in Tasmania with Paul O’Halloran.
Since then, all we see them doing is pumping out media releases to grab votes for the next election over royalties for regions from Paul O’Halloran:

And possible future coal seam gas mining from Kim Booth:

The Greens need a big shake down over policy and communication with the community. Considering it is mining companies and banks that control our nation, for the Greens not to have clear policies on these is unconscionable.
