Buck and Joan Emberg have had the horrifying expience of being sick on a 22 hour flight from Sydney to Duluth, Minnesota.
Buck was immediately hospitalized with a serious case of pnemonia and Joan contracted serious bronchitis…thank the gawds for insurance…They are on the mend.
Buck will be back into ‘Sissies’ when he can write without having a fit of coughing.
The next chapter will have to be about an old guy and his old wife getting sick on an international flight and how the system really wanted to jetison them over the Pacific to solve the problems.
“We are now able to see some of the humour of our recent flight and will be back with pithy coments and unerring insights ASAP.”
Next week Buck and Joan are going to Buck’s 73rd Kindergarten Reunion (Fair Dinkum) in Minnesota.
“Most of the class are dead, some want to be, some will be soon and then there are the walking wounded along with us.
To coin a phrase, “We are having a new experience!”
