Quick, Simple Effective Ways To Cater For Your Very Bright Preschoolers

A workshop to engage the whole child in a sensory-rich activities environment:
• Identification and characteristics
• Using a variety of extension and enrichment activities to assist children to predict, estimate and take risks especially in unpredictable situations
• Developing persistence when faced with uncertainty
• Communicating effectively with others
• Skills and approaches used when fostering reading and writing links
• Understanding maths concepts and the joy of science

Registrants are welcome to stay for a keynote presentation by Professor Carmel Diezmann on “Creativity and the minds of the Extraordinary” and a short presentation by Professor Ian Hay, Dean of Education, UTas, followed by a light lunch concluding at 1:15pm.
