Geraldine Brooks at Fullers Bookshop today, 2pm
Pulitzer Prize winning author and former foreign correspondent, Geraldine Brooks will be in conversation with Heather Rose at a sold out event at Fullers Bookshop at 2pm today.
Geraldine’s latest novel is Caleb’s Crossing (Harper Collins 2011) and it tells the story of Caleb, the son of a Wampanoag chieftan and the first native American to graduate from Harvard university. It is set in the 1600s.
Geraldine won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction for her novel March in 2006.
She was a foreign correspondent for the Wall Street Journal and she covered crises in the Middle East, Africa and the Balkans.
Heather Rose is one of Tasmania’s best known novelists and her most recent novel The River Wife was published in 2009 by Allen and Unwin.
