Comment on new North planning framework 4

Late this afternoon the Northern Regional Planning Framework document (Northern Regional Strategy) was released.

It is out for consultation until 10th June.

The final version of this document will be the primary high level planning instrument that is intended to set the planning direction and controls for the northern sector of the state (and yes, the Pulp Mill does get a mention).

If you think that this does not require some comment, just go to page 14, where you will see that the State Forest is included under the category of ‘Reserves’!
