Freshly Squeezed onto the airwaves –SEAFM Northern Tasmania’s The Juice starts Monday
After carefully blending the ingredients for almost six months, SEAFM’s The Juice arrives 6am this Valentine’s Day across Northern Tasmania. Anchored by seasoned Tasmanian Broadcasters radio announcer Lee Dixon and award-winning AFTRS star recruit TulliaConnor, The Juice will deliver a fresh new sound from the brand new, state-of-the-art SEAFM Northern Tasmania hub.
Mrs Sylvia Sayers, General Manager of Northern Tasmanian Broadcasters:
SEAFM Devonport, SEAFM Burnie and SEAFM Scottsdale have been rocking out their local communities for generations. Evolution is critical to ensure these station’s continue to connect with the appropriate target demographics, and The Juice is a product of an industry-leading team that have the ability to continually reinvent themselves.
The Juice is a platform that has been in the making for quite some time, and leads a stellar 2011 line-up of star recruits and national programs. I welcome Lee & Tulliato our expanding family of stations and staff, and look forward to joining the team next Friday for “The Juice on the Loose” as we travel with our listeners across Northern Tasmania.
Mr Mark Robinson, Assistant Program Director, Northern Tasmania
The Juice has been in development since Tasmanian Broadcasters decided to build the new North West Coast Radio Hub in Devonport mid-2010. Our dedicated Content and Integration teams have been working diligently (and in shrouded secrecy) to ensure The Juice and the team behind them is ready for the biggest and best year for the SEAFM Northern Tasmania stations.
On Monday, The Juice will launch with a fresh new sound for our hit-music stations. Lee & Tulliahave a dynamic relationship on-air and will anchor a show filled with celebrity scandal, prizes you actually want to win, on-location stunts (sorry StreetStars) and of course, the best new hits fastrackedfrom across the world.
One of the most integral components of The Juice are the local SEAFM StreetStarteams –out in the communities throughout each and every show. The SEAFM brand has always had a loyal following in the cities of Northern Tasmania and we wanted to ensure that The Juice was designed to be as visible and approachable as possible.
The Juice kicks-off Monday 14thFebruary sending listeners to Fiji and with the chance to help to create the Juice’s Juice.
