During the State election campaign in Feb/Mar 2010 Labor ran with a number of slogans, eventually settling on the grammatically-challenged “Labor Building a Better Tasmania”.
But they didn’t seem to be building anything at their shared electorate office in the Green Point Shopping Centre near Bridgewater at midday on Monday this week.
The closed roll-a-door shutters are the so-called electorate office, the MHA/MLC titles of Aird and Giddings are years out of date, the office is not even in Lara Gidding’s electorate anymore, and two of the five MP’s (Llewellyn and Butler) lost their seats 6 months ago but are still proudly beaming out over the shopping centre carpark.
