“The future for Industrial Relations in Australia is bleak,” Shadow Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, Senator Abetz said (lat week).

“From July 1 next year, when the Greens assume the balance of power in the Senate, the Industrial Relations agenda in this country is likely to be determined in a political dog fight between the left and the extreme left – Labor and the Australian Greens.”

“This ‘scrap’ between the left and extreme left factions is fuelled by the increasing influence the union movement has over the Australian Greens and the hundreds of thousands of dollars the unions have spent bankrolling them,” Senator Abetz said.

“In the House of Representatives new Greens MP, Adam Bandt, who has been an active member of the Marxist forum, The Left Alliance, was bankrolled during the Federal election campaign by the Electrical Trades Union with a $300,000 donation from its members.”

“When you dig down, all the ducks begin to line up, Adam Bandt also worked for the same Industrial law firm as Julia Gillard.”

“It’s no wonder that Mr Bandt so effusively thanked the ETU and the CEPU at the very top of his maiden speech to Parliament a few weeks ago and its no wonder that he’d hardly got his feet under his Parliamentary desk when he was catapulted into the position of the Greens Industrial Relations spokesman.”

The Greens agenda, at the behest of militant elements of the union movement, include: • The abolition of the Australian Building and Constriction Commissioner, the industrial watchdog that stoically stands between normality in the workplace and industrial anarchy in Australia. • Increased union power and influence over workers in the workplace. • And….that workers should be able to take wildcat strikes, for any reason and without any warning.

“Since 2005 the Greens have accepted donations of more than three quarters of a million dollars from the unions.”

“On July 1 2011, the ‘so called’ ‘new paradigm’ will evolve into the ‘new pantomime’ with the Greens and Labor’s Union puppet masters pulling all the strings.” “On July 1 2011 its payback time,” Senator Abetz said.
