Hobart Repertory Theatre production at the Playhouse, 106 Bathrust Street, Hobart from Friday 22nd October to Saturday 6th November (Matinee Saturday 30th 2:00pm).
“ A Chorus of Disapproval ”
Written by Alan Ayckbourn & Directed by Ann Lennon-George. (Presented with special permission from Dominie Pty Ltd).

Brief Synopsis:
In this heartbreakingly hilarious romp, Ayckbourn manages to weave small town sadness, pathos and bitterness into an insightful comedy which revolves around an amateur light opera society’s production of The Beggars Opera and its latest inductee Guy Jones, a man who can’t say no…. to anything! Throw in illicit affairs, shonky business deals and an eccentric director and you’ll be ‘begging’ for more!
