God must be looking down on these people …
What is the reason behind the Anglican Bishop selling the church communities assets at the cost of its parishioners?
God must be looking down on these people and wondering why are they diverting from the path of faith and truth to chase the almighty dollar and forsaking all others.
At a recent Parish Annual Meeting in Tasmania it was revealed that the Bishop has the right to remove monies from the Trust funds of its deceased parishioners.
In an alarming statement by the church it stated that it had legal advice that it was within its rights to remove and use monies from Trust funds for whatever purposes it so desires.
In a question posed by a member of the Anglican Church, it was asked ” if someone bequeathed an amount of money specifically and only for the upkeep of the grave yard of a specific church and for no other purpose can the church divert those funds for its own use?” The answer was that YES it could, and that was based on legal advice given to the Bishop.
I strongly doubt that that would stand up in court and I would call this dishonest at the least, if not deceptive.
How can people who call themselves CHRISTIANS act in this way?
This is the same organisation that preaches “we need to become a younger church” and then sells the Land that supported “Mission Afloat” a youth development organisation geared to children’s intellectual and spiritual growth.
A Minister of a local Parish also stated to his flock when questioned by an elderly man, “what do you mean by this”(becoming a younger church), he was told “if you don’t like the changes you can leave and go to another church down the road”
These people may not be made accountable on earth but will be judged as I will be by a higher power!
