
Findings of the George River Water Quality Panel
The George River Water Quality Panel will today release its final report into water quality in the St Helens area.
Three members from the panel of eminent, independent scientists will be present:
– Dr Graeme Batley, Chief Research Scientist in CSIRO’s Environmental Biogeochemistry research program
– Professor John McNeil, Head, Monash University School of Public Health and Preventative Medicine
– Professor Michael Moore, Director of the National Research Centre for Environmental Toxicology
Mr John Ramsay, Convenor, George River Water Quality Panel, will also be present.
