After months of development, Hobart’s feel good station, 7HO FM 101.7 today officially
launches Hobart’s freshest Breakfast program.
Today’s launch of Breakfast with the Stars – driven by Motors will signal a new era for 7HOFM
which incidentally celebrates its 80th birthday later this year.
Breakfast with the Stars hosts Johnno and Jane have quite an interwoven history, first working
together 20 years ago, but only recently sealing their partnership with a kiss on-air in support of
the MS society. They also recently battled it out for bragging rights in the Tasmanian
performance of SBS’ RockWiz.
The eclectic duo kick-starts your workday at 6am, and continue to serve up immensely popular
benchmarks such as 7HOFM’s “Sound Hound”.
From Monday week, Breakfast with the Stars will be giving locals their chance to grab their share
in over $10,000 worth of chocolate bars in “Breakfast with the Bars – proudly supported by the
Royal Guide Dogs of Tasmania”
The launch coincides with the formal announcement of new partnerships with iconic Tasmanian
businesses (such as Breakfast sponsorship by Motors) and not for profit organisations, as well as
a sneak peak of 7HOFM’s evolved marketing and new Integration department and Street Stars.
Metro buses wrapped in the smiling faces of Johnno and Jane will be spreading the word about
the new look show, as well as fresh television commercials airing on local television partners
