We must fight the good fight
David Clement 1941 – 2010
Today I went to celebrate the life of a warrior, in his garden with his friends and family – a wonderful man who died suddenly on 8 April 2010. He was a true environmental warrior and champion of causes. He was full of energy, bursting with knowledge, wit and quirky humour, loved words and language, and had boundless compassion. He cared for the land, the water and the air and all that lived. He was a man of integrity and generous with his time for those that were in need. We will miss him.
I can confide that he too adored dark chocolate and we had just dubbed a man a ‘numpty babbit’ (extra points for those who work out what it means and who it was!)
At the end of one of his last emails to me he wrote “Fight the Good fight!”
That is what we must do … we must “Fight the Good fight!”
