Today, 35+ charities in Melbourne alone – hand out the life saving Backpack Bed.
With Daves fundraising effort – Swags for Homelss is ready when you are.
Our system works – we have the letters to prove it.

When I met Tony Abbott, he said “this is the best swag I’ve seen for homeless”.
Senator Steven Fielding (Leader of Family First) was so impressed with the Backpack Bed – he is going to sleep on the streets in one – with homeless in Melbourne.

The money raised for “Swags for the Homeless”..$1,658.00….came from people who were celebrating “5 years without a pulp mill”.
It is a gift to community.
You people, at the coal face, will know who can make best use of these swags.
Hopefully you will be able to maximise media exposure, to push your barrows for more services, more swags, to support and promote the Devonport sleepout in August, and to find political solutions to correct the mismangement that currently exists in Tasmania, which sees a phenomenal volume of people on the streets.
