The ongoing abuse of process case by some of those arrested in the Upper Florentine proceeded today in the Hobart Magistrates Court.
This case alleging abuse of process by Tasmania Police and Forestry Tasmania in the handling of the “Mothers Day 22” trespass charges was adjourned until 9.15am Thursday 19th December when both parties will complete their submissions.
Lynda Blyth, who was regarded as the test case had her charges dismissed on 21st September when the police presented no evidence.
“I am astounded that the others that are facing identical charges are still being relentlessly pursued by Forestry Tasmania” Lynda Blyth said today.
