Dear All

Well, after 9 years, AAR is coming to an end. Ozarabic and Adnyamathanha courses now have their independence, and will continue to run into the future, and, for myself, it is time to bow out and focus on other things.

We have had a great year, with successes particularly with the Adnyamathanha course. Keep an eye out for Wadu Matyidi, a unique animated short movie in Adnyamathanha, along with minidocumentaries, coming out on DVD next year. I think Wadu Matyidi will inspire many, here and overseas.

Czenya Cavouras’s Rainbow Bird is listed on the NSW Premiers Reading challenge next year. It is available, along with Dark Dreams and No PLace Like Home, through Wakefield Press.

The website will remain up for the resources it offers, at least for a while. The archive of AAR projects will remain with me.

Our remaining fund and future royalties will go to Tauondi College, for the Adnyamathanha course, in the first instance for making short life story films of elders.

We would like to thank all those who have stuck with us and contributed to our projects for your amazing support and enthusiasm. For our small team of crazy and creative people, this has been a revelation and an experience like no other.

So – what more can I say, except thank you, and have a great 2010!

Warmly

Eva and the AAR crowd
