Next week’s proposed wide-spread teacher stop-works which will affect a large majority of our students. To that extent, we are extremely disappointed with this action.

It is clear that these stop-works are the direct result of David Bartlett’s bloody-mindedness in ignoring the views of teachers and forcing Elizabeth College into his failing Tasmania Tomorrow experiment.

It is telling that even in the face of this widespread action and impact on students, Mr Bartlett is content to sit by and allow it to happen.

I suggest parents upset about the impact of these stop-works vent their anger at Mr Bartlett. It is his stubbornness that has led to this crisis.
