Fullers Bookshop will extend its trading hours starting on Monday, November 16.
They will now be open between 8.30am to 8pm Monday to Friday.
Weekend trading hours will remain the same; between 9.00am and 5.00pm on Saturday and 10.00 to 4.00pm on Sunday.
The extended hours are as a result of a huge increase in trading at the shop since they moved to their new premises two months ago.
The Hobart CBD has often been thought to be a wasteland after 6pm though the staff at Fullers’ new shop at 131 Collins Street have found this to be anything but true.
“We have already had a dramatic increase in trading,” said Catherine Schultz, the manager of Fullers.
“There is such a lovely cosmopolitan vibe at this end of Collins Street,
“We wanted to try something a little different, it feels natural to stay open later,” she said.
