Paul Barry, reporter and author of The Rise and Rise of Kerry Packer will be at Fullers Bookshop to talk about his controversial new book, Who Wants to be a Billionaire: The James Packer Story on Wednesday 28th of October at 6pm.
Who Wants to be a Billionaire? tells of James Packer’s desperate battle to win his father’s love and respect. It’s also a tale of billion-dollar bets gone disastrously wrong.
Barry is a former investigative reporter for ABC’s Four Corners and has also written The Rise and Fall of Alan Bond.
He has been on the advisory board for the Walkley Awards and is currently the subject of criticism by many major business figures in Australia for his portrayal of James Packer.
Barry interviewed over 200 people while he researched this book.
