Helen Burnet Makes Tasmanian History!

Greens Leader Nick McKim MP today congratulated Hobart City Council candidate, Helen Burnet, on becoming the first endorsed Greens Deputy Lord Mayor for Tasmania.
“Deputy Lord Mayoress-elect Helen Burnet has made Tasmanian history today, as the first ever endorsed Greens’ candidate to achieve this break-through result,” Mr McKim said
“Ms Burnet will be an excellent Deputy Lord Mayor. This is a great day for the Greens and a great day for Hobart.”
“Ms Burnet’s achievement in these elections is testimony to the dedicated work on a range of issues of the Greens councillors on the Hobart City Council over the years.”
