Our new ‘team Bartlett’ is apparently in a cold-calling panic after the latest opinion poll. They plan a “military assault” to doorknock 10,000 houses this Saturday.

This will need 250 rank and file ALP members to start pounding on the doors to beg Tasmanians to forgive the last 11 years, and give them another 4.

But now we learn the captain of the team will be in sunny Queensland, not pounding the streets with his troops.

If they call on you, ask them what they understand by the term ‘integrity in government’.

I am going to disconnect the bell and lock my door.
