Conservationists have criticised proposed changes to fishing laws in Tasmania.
Under the state’s existing fishing laws, no person is allowed to take any fish or marine plant from a marine nature reserve.
The proposed new rules would give the Minister David Llewellyn the discretionary power to allocate fishing licences for fish found in reserves.
