DPIW’s Corporate Communications unit has almost doubled in the last month or so … and now there are twelve in Corporate Communications.
The Corporate Communications team apparently helps sections of the Department in everything from developing communication plans, to dealing with media, marketing and staging events, co-ordinating web presence and intranet site, to publication of the departmental magazine Tas-Regions.
Penny Sale (formerly Communications Manager for the Department of Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts) is Manager of the Corporate Communications branch of DPIPWE. Senior Communications consultant Jane Lovibond has also joined the DPIPWE Communications team which also includes, Warwick Brennan, Nadeen Burge, Simon de Salis, Catherine Anderson, Emil Kolbe, Sha-sha Kwa, Lee Buchanan, and Phil Wood. Multimedia consultants are Lexi Clark and Len Gay.
