WILLIAM BOEDER

Forestry is but another form of Whale-hunting, though the objects in their case be the supposedly protected Ancient Forests of Tasmania.

It seems such a shame that you were taken in by the collective smart-suited rogues at this conference, they obviously saw you as an easy target for their unctuous manners, smiling countenances, and giggly requests/ demands for Federal-Funding so to keep alive their proven unsustainable industries.
Dear Mr. Burke

The Honorable Tony Burke MP.

DEAR Mr. Burke,

Further to your round table conference with the big boys of forestry.

It seems that you were held captive to the demands of the forestry roguesters, and of their painting a picture of glory and good times a coming, thanks to you only, at this conference.

One of the major proponents of denuding as much Old Growth forest for conversion into pulp or chip wood, is a certain avaristic Mr. John Gay.

He possibly showed himself to a smiling affable gentleman, though underneath there lurks in him a cut-throat thug, willing to sacrifice much of Tasmania to the chain-saw and the resultant burning torches.

The Tasmanian RFA is a cold-blooded document centred on giving the forestry industry a free hand to destroy that which it chooses and to harvest timber as it wishes.

Like most government agreements, they can be ever open to challenge, variation, unintended mis-construement, denials specific to wildlife, in fact the whole Tasmanian Forest Agreement reads more as a loggers hand-book, than a proper and fair forestry agreement that makes itself accountable for its actions.

It is absolute fact, proven by myself, that there is absolutely nobody on this entire Planet, that has a care to properly regulate the forestry industry, particularly in Tasmania.

In all my correspondences, letters written to Her Majesty The Queen, then letters to Australia’s Governor General Ms. Quentin Bryce, through to the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, then on to the various ministers whom deign to claim some sort of responsibility, (though no claims to any regulation whatsoever,) not (1) person in this entire cavalcade of correspondences, would nominate any regulation other than to refer to this miasmic toe-rag of an Agreement, so specifically designed to benefit only the forestry industies in their practices, their purposes, and thus their own interpretations of that which is right or wrong.

On the matter of regulation, or the absence of, I have retained all correspondences pertaining to its non-existent status.

I have read the entire Tasmanian RFA, also noting the scarce references to protecting our indigenous wildlife here, in fact it resembles more a set of execution documents, than it could a proper government form of regulation.

[Though it can become rather dull and boorish, without any giggly bits, even lacking the element of a good plot.]

Your recent media release smilingly acknowledged, then quickly glossed over your pretended interest to all and sundry environmental cares and concerns, even to the point of using this media release to contain these caring comely references, when in fact these diversionary inclusions were merely used as a means of padding out and giving lip sevice alone to that specific media release.

Unfortunately, the wiles in the collaboration and attendance to the demands of the forestry collective, clearly show you have been overwhelmed by their pretences of good business and proprietory toward all others.

The Smiling Assasin, The Senator Eric Abetz, was once once upon a time and still may well be, a staunch supporter among this cuddly bunch of plunderers, even to the point of loudly [though incorrectly,] imploring the supposed sustainability of Tasmania’s forestry plundering mayhem.

[Though he ommitted the enormity of government funding and subsidies given by his government at the time.]

Who would have thought these rogues are without any regulation, (other than the infrequent feeble attendance to the toe-rag RFA,) they are their own law, unto their own purposes?

Sadly for the environmentally concerned people, they see you as merely another willing accomplice to the ruination and degradation as so imposed upon them, by the intrepid though sinister purposed forestry magnates upon our fair island.

There is the strong suggestion between the lines of your recent media release, that you care not for others but the select few forest harvesters, yourself, and maybe your family.

For their is scant true reference or regard toward anyone else.

Your own thoughts here please Mr. Burke?

Thank-you.

Yours respectfully,

William Boeder. Citizen.
