The item in the Merc was perhaps a fishing exercise by Ms Hay or her supporters to test reaction to a possible comeback to politics by her. If that is the case, there is nothing wrong with that. I’m not sure what that reaction might have been; not being in the state at the moment means I’m out of the loop a bit. I did check the Examiner site to see if they picked it up, but didn’t see anything. But my checking isn’t that thorough and I can’t see the physical newspaper, so it may have got a run. After all, it’s their home turf. Nothing on the ABC news, either, on the web. Read more here
