Sacrifice. I do believe that was the headline on today’s Mercury, referring to Ms Giddings’ noble self-sacrifice in putting politics ahead of her personal life for the benefit of the party. Gee, thanks Lara. Apparently we should be grateful for having a woman who has never had a proper job running the state, employing Labor mates and taking unexplained overseas trips at public expense.
