It was interesting to see David Bartlett, while on an outing to launch the PET scanner, softening us up for the possibility of the proposed hospital being funded by a public/private partnership. The government is linked to the Melbourne law firm DLA Phillips Fox. As I understand it, DLA Phillips Fox have been heavily involved in the financing of Victorian hospitals with PPPs. It would be good to know exactly what advice the government has been receiving from DLA Phillips Fox. Read more, Comment here
