AT 7.53am this morning on 1026mhz ABC News Radio I hear the Prime Ministerial envoy to New Guinea has commented that the Kakoda Trail and the forests immediately surrounding it should be considered for World Heritage listing. The report further explained that the envoy explained that New Guinea people living along the trail might very well benefit from the income that would be created as a result of the carbon processing the native forests would provide.
