Hydro power
Watcher on the Balcony
A great view of the eastern corner of the Hydro building at 4 Elizabeth Street (“Hands On Electricity Display Inside”). It’s 3:39 pm and there goes another bus, heading to the Hydro’s new low-energy offices at Cambridge. It’s a full-size Metro bus this time, but there’d be at least eight mid-sized shuttle buses leaving Hobart each day with workers aboard. Is this weird or what? Do employees drive to town, park their cars, do a bit of work then head for Cambridge? What’s going on? Is it beyond range of the company’s battery-powered Prius?
