The Swifts are back

Hi Everyone,
Thankyou to those who attended the Survey Day held in Wielangta onthe 24th of August.
A summary of the days findings is available on the blog site: ( Here ) But in brief, the SWIFT PARROTS are BACK, and the threatened orchid species previously recorded were confirmed in several areas.
There is to be another survey trip into Wielangta on Sunday September 28th. If you are interested in coming along could you please let me know no later than the 21st as I need a final list of names before confirming with Forestry and getting the Key.
Also thankyou all who came along to the pot luck dinner at the Copping hall.
A wonderful night was had by all and many thanks go to the organisers and the entertainers.
We raised $750.00 which will be put to good use with the ongoing education campaign.
Hopefully there we’ll be able to send out the new t-shirt design and order forms in the next month or so.
