A Sailor

The Japanese ferry operator Higashi Nihon Ferry has announced that it is withdrawing from domestic ferry services effective November. The high bunker costs have made the operation unprofitable. Among the ships are the two recently delivered Incat wavepiercers NATCHAN RERA and NATCHAN WORLD. The two fast ferries were launched together with new terminal facilities in Aomori and Hakodate.
