After the show’s panel watched Ms Wriedt deliver a recorded message about a new sponsorship deal for a proposed Tasmanian AFL team, Newman said: “It would be worthy of coming on her.”

Nope ABC, that’s a misquote – he said “It would be worth coming on her.”
Rude but a pun of sorts after panellists had talked of her coming on the show.

Jeez – childish stuff for govt journos on $95,000 per annum.
