Landowners to resist Gunn¹s Tamar Valley pulp mill pipeline.
Media personality Peter Cundall supports landowners in battle to protect their land, lifestyle and properties
A group of key Tamar Valley landowners, supported by media personality Peter Cundall are now hardening their resistance to attempts to construct a massive pipeline across their properties. This pipeline is a vital for the success of Gunn¹s giant pulp mill, proposed for the beautiful Valley. The project cannot go ahead without it.
The proponents have given landowners until July 23 to accept a financial offer.
Peter Cundall is a well-known television presenter, environmentalist and writer. He lives in the Tamar Valley and is now concentrating on doing all he can to stop the pulp mill from being constructed.
Peter Cundall is meeting other local residents at the Tailrace Reserve, another public site that will be seriously disrupted during the construction of the pulp mill pipeline.
