DOES ANYONE know anything about a consulting company called SFM?

I have looked their ‘Mission Statement’ on the net ( http://www.sfmanagement.com.au/sfm.html ) and after reading it, I can’t understand why they are clear felling 100 hectares of beautiful rain forest where the Dove River meets the Forth river near the Cradle Mountain World Heritage Area, and converting to plantation.

This picture is within the area recently purchased by this company, which is across the lake from my farm. The right foreground tree damage is from ‘roading’ work. There is a person standing in ront of the tree gives perspective.

I had a brief conversation with one of the two directors, and co-owners of the Company, and expressed my concern that this is in the catchment for Cradle Coast water (Devonport’s water supply), and that I also, have a license to take water from Lake Cethana only a few hundred meters downstream.

I asked if the area could be re-seeded instead of using chemicals that would end up in the water supply, and was told that they would not consider this at all.

Then I looked up their web site, and nothing seems to match!

Can anyone help?
