A CONTROVERSIAL boarding house proposed for an exclusive Hobart street will go ahead, after a Full Court decision. The Hobart City Council lost its long-running court battle against the 27-bed supported accommodation project yesterday. All three judges of the Full Court dismissed the council’s appeal. The Tenants’ Union said the Full Court had delivered a very strong judgment on the development of a nursing home off Fitzroy Place in Sandy Bay. Read more here
