The Forests contains 144 pages of images and thoughts of the struggle for Tasmania’s forests.
Matthew Newton’s photo essay taken from the book is a finalist in this year’s Walkley Awards. He was also a finalist in this year’s Leica Documentary Award with a series of images from The Forests.
