PULP MILL FORUM – NOV 6 – HOBART
Is it a done deal or will it fall over? Is it an economic saviour or a backward step for the new economy? Is it the world’s greenest mill or an environmental disaster? The pulp mill debate is far from over. Now is your chance to hear from politicians and an expert panel. Come along to what should be a great opportunity to have your questions asked, with an open session including questions from the floor. Organised by Environment Tasmania, and Facilitated by Dr Peter Hay, School of Geography & Environmental Studies.

Who: Politicians will be asked to outline their / their party’s position on the pulp mill, whilst the expert panel will speak to their particular area of expertise.

PULP MILL RALLY – Nov 17 – HOBART
Tasmanian families and their future have been let down by the Howard and Lennon Governments, and by Mr Rudd’s ‘me-too’ support for the pulp mill. One week before the federal election, the Wilderness Society will be holding a rally and march to give you the opportunity to tell the elected government, whichever party, that Tasmanians want them to stop the Tamar Valley pulp mill.
