Groups opposing the pulp mill will gather in Princes Square, Launceston at 12 noon Friday 5 October 2007. The title of the protest is Community Judgment Day. Groups represented by speakers will include the Wilderness Society, the Greens, Tasmanians Against Pulpmill (TAP) and the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC). Speakers include Peg Putt, Peter Whish-Wilson, Sean Cadman (Wilderness Society), and Trudy Maluga (TAC). This will be the first opportunity of the public to respond to the go-ahead given to the mill by Mr Turnbull.
